Lyn Hogrefe is the founder and executive director of the Happy Hormone Cottage, which she started 8 years ago in the heart of Centerville, as a safe place for women to share their stories, be heard and validated. Through her own journey with an emergency radical hysterectomy at the age of 49, she recognized the huge gap between what our doctors and standard of care were telling us about hormone balance, and the truth about the needs of our body and the important tasks of our hormones. With the help of her compounding pharmacist husband, she fought her way back to wellness, and opened her Happy Hormone Cottage to educate women on their options for natural hormone balance, prevention of disease and wellness throughout life.
Today, Lyn has 4 Happy Hormone Cottages in the Cincinnati-Dayton area; as well as a consulting business-HHC Consulting-to teach doctors across the country how to become proficient in optimal hormone balance. The second edition of her book, "Own Your Journey.....to Natural Hormone Balance" was published last year, solidifying her as a Warrior for Women's Wellness. In the summer of 2015, Lyn began her "Lyn Hogrefe Women's Health Initiatives Foundation," supporting New Hope for Cancer where 100% of monies raised goes directly to New Hope for Cancer.
Lyn has been recognized in Dayton as a WIBN Top 25 Woman to Watch; in Cincinnati as CincyChic Woman of the Year, and an Athena Award Finalist; and most recently she was selected by the West Chester Liberty Chamber Alliance as a Woman of Excellence.
Lyn's passion is women helping women understand the truth about their bodies, and to learn the most natural options for aging gracefully and healthfully, with a focus on preventing disease.

Grace Marshall is a leader with Neal's Yard Remedies, a pioneer in organic health and beauty for over thirty-five years. Grace began her journey when she was looking for an organic / holistic alternative to skin care and wellness. She had been affected personally and through friends and family by the effects that chemicals play in cancer, diabetes and autism. Leaving no stone unturned, Grace began researching how toxins affect our health not only by virtue of the food we eat but also by the chemicals we absorb through our skin daily.
Grace's research led her to Neal's Yard Remedies (NYR). It wasn't just the fact that they pioneered the organic health and beauty industry or that they set a high benchmark for others, it was also their dedication to transparency and ethical business practices from the source to the consumer.
One of the most notable awards among the many earned by NYR, that spoke to Grace, was achieving 100/100 for ethics in an independent audit by the Ethical Company Organization. The first health and beauty company to achieve such a high standard. At Neal's Yard Remedies, they are involved in every step of the process, from raising and using organic and fair wild ingredients to formulations, manufacturing, bottling and delivery. They believe in safe cosmetics, "When in doubt, leave it out." Which means not using anything they believe can cause you or the planet harm, "No Nasties."
In short, not only did her first experience with the products surpass her expectations, but the attention to detail with labeling, their iconic 100% recyclable blue bottles, and sustainable packaging, sealed the deal. She had confidently found a home and a company she felt honored to represent.
Grace meets with clients one on one, speaks at private functions and participates in many networking events and fairs. Her engagement reaches out to many through her monthly newsletter, Facebook posts and blog. Grace has a passion for educating others on the benefits of using safe, organic health and beauty products in everyday life in order to help balance the body burden.
